Patagonia was the perfect area to explore with a baby. As well as being safe with lovely welcoming locals there were endless beautiful mountains to explore. I did my first hike since Poppy was born, up a mountain above the town of Bariloche. I was nervous my post-natal wouldn’t cope, but Poppy was light at this stage and slept the whole time in my sling.
When we made it to the top we had an Argentina-style feast and stayed the night in the mountain hut - we were told Poppy was the youngest visitor that had stayed!
Although I found it tough, I was excited about how well hiking worked with a baby and ever since it has been our favourite way to have an adventure with Poppy!
