With it being National Birdbox Week why not combine crafts and wildlife to make your very own bird nesting box to hang in your outside space? 
Here are a few ideas on how to get started with your bird box activity
 
According to RSBP the best way to attract birds to your garden is to have a nest box where they can find food and shelter.

Stuff you may need
Materials may be different depending on the type of bird box you decide to make:
  • Paints, pens
  • Recycled household items
  • Wood planks
  • Nails, screws
  • Hammer
  • Saw
  • A drill
 
Once you have constructed the box and decorated it, fill it with a few natural items. Examples include twigs, leaves, grass, bark, or wood chipping inside.
