Hannah’s parents said she wouldn’t amount to anything, then subsequently ghosted her, which is mentioned in her Dragons’ Den pitch or on Woman’s Hour on BBC Radio 4 here:

After this tumultuous beginning, she escaped to the armed forces, joining the RAF. This is when things really started to turn around, she came 3rd out of 150 cadets overall and won a Chief of the Air Staff commendation for a project she completed. In the RAF she got really into sports, adventured and travel, things she wasn’t exposed to as a child. When she had her first son she wanted to share these with him, as it had meant so much to her.On their adventures her eldest, Etienne, got chapped lips and wind burnt cheeks so she started making products in her kitchen, as she couldn’t find anything on the market that worked.

Since launching in 2019 the business and Hannah have gone from strength to strength, winning the following awards and the BBC dubbing her "The most prepared entrepreneur to ever enter the Den"

She enjoys mentoring women and veterans into business, although will generally help anyone that asks. She speaks at events, including Equality and Diversity (where she was an advisor in the MOD), entrepreneurship, overcoming advertising, and pitching skills.
